Sun Ten – Platycodon & Schizonepeta (Zhi Sou San)

Platycodon & Schizonepeta Formula by Sun Ten, also known as Zhi Sou San, is used for the patterns of Lung heat, stagnant heat, and phlegm heat.

Western Symptomology:
• Aversion-Wind
• Chills-Slight
• Cough-Hacking
• Cough-Phlegm
• Fever
• Headache
• Phlegm-Difficult to expectorate
• Sweating-Night

TCM Functions:
• Lung-Wind Heat
• Yin-Deficient
• Phlegm

Ingredients: Platycodon root (jie geng), Schizonepeta herb (jing jie), Aster root (zi wan), Stemona root (bai bu), Cynanchum root (bai qian), Chinese licorice root (gan cao), Citrus peel (chen pi).

Suggested Use:
Dissolve 1 to 2 grams in a cup of hot water to make a tea 2 to 3 times daily.
