Sun Ten – Coptis & Gelatin (Huang Lian E Jiao Tang)

Coptis & Gelatin Combination by Sun Ten, also known as Huang Lian E Jiao Tang, nourishes the Blood, nourishes and astringes Yin, softens the Liver and relieves pain.

Western Symptomology:
• Dysentery
• Bleeding
• Insomnia
• Hypertension

Chinese Functions:
• Expels Damp-Heat especially in the Lower Burner
• Eliminates Fire toxicity especially when there is associated Dampness
• Eliminates Stomach Fire

Ingredients: Coptis root (huang lian), Scute root (huang qin), White peony root (bai shao).

Suggested Use:
Dissolve 1 to 2 grams in a cup of hot water to make a tea 2 to 3 times daily.
