Sun Ten – Bupleurum & Chih-Shih (Si Ni San)

Bupleurum & Chih-shih Formula by Sun Ten, also known as Si Ni San, soothes liver, regulates qi, and relieves qi stagnancy.

Western Symptomology:

• Extremities-Cold
• Pain-Abdominal
• Pain-Flank
• Rectal-Heaviness
• Stool-Diarrhea
• Urinary-Difficulty

Chinese Functions:
• Liver Qi-Rebeling
• Yang-Rising

Ingredients: Bupleurum root (chai hu), Bitter orange fruit (zhi shi), White peony root (bai shao), Chinese licorice root (gan cao).

Suggested Use:
Dissolve 1 to 2 grams in a cup of hot water to make a tea 2 to 3 times daily.
