Major Bupleurum by Plum Flower, also known as Da Chai Hu Wan, harmonizes the shao yang, soothes the liver, clears liver and gallbladder heat, and purges accumulation due to yang ming heat.

This formula is useful to address acute gastroenteritis, gastrointestinal flu, cholecystitis (acute or chronic), gallstones, pancreatitis, and the fever stage of malaria.
