Ophiopogon Plus Metal-Securing Combination is an adaptation of two classic TCM formulas, Sha Shen Mai Dong Tang and Bai He Gu Jin Tang.

This formula is used to nourish yin and moisten the Lungs, as well as to transform phlegm and suppress coughs. It is typically prescribed to address conditions involving dryness in the lungs, which can be caused by various factors, including the lingering effects of a cold or a constitutional yin deficiency.

The formula can be used to address symptoms such as:
• Dry, non-productive cough: Often chronic or lingering after an illness.
