Apricot & Rhubarb Combination by Far East Summit Chinese Classics, also known as Ma Zi Ren Wan, is a traditional Chinese herbal formula is used for downward draining and moistening purgative.

Actions: Moistens the intestine, clears dryness and heat, disinhibits qi of the stomach & intestine promoting passage of stool.

Chinese Symptomology: Frequent urination; stools very dry and firm; habitual constipation in convalescent elderlies or those with delicate constitution.

Tongue: Usually has a yellow and dry coating.

Pulse: Usually deep, rapid or hesitant.

Pattern: Dry Heat in the Intestines and a lack of secretion of Fluids; it is an emollient especially suitable for elderly persons.
