Jiang Ya Pian by Plum Flower, sedates liver Yang, cools liver fire, calms internal wind, invigorates the blood, tonifies blood and nourishes liver and kidney yin.
It helps calms the Liver and subdues the Yang to help maintain blood pressure levels that are already within the normal range.
This formula is commonly known as “Lower (Blood) Pressure Tablets”. It is best used to address hypertension in persons with Liver yang rising, with such symptoms as red, flushed face, pain and stiffness in the neck and shoulders, distending headache, vertigo, dizziness and insomnia.

Standard Dosage: 6 tablets, 2 x per day.
Ingredients: Viscum coloratum herb, Scutellaria baicalensis root, Cassia obtusifolia seed, Crataegus pinnatifida fruit, Clerodendrum trichotomum leaf, Morus alba root-bark, Pheretima aspergillum. Other Ingredients: Dextrin, Hypromellose, Polyethylene glycol, Magnesium stearate. Contains gluten & soy. E Jiao is prepared with soybean oil.
Contraindicated during pregnancy and menstruation, or with hemorrhagic disorders.
Contraindicated for very weak or deficient patients.
Use with caution in breast-feeding women as Da huang/rhubarb can pass through the breast milk causing colic and diarrhea in infants.
Use with caution in Spleen deficient patients with a tendency to loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness.
May cause mild abdominal cramping in sensitive patients.
